Reese’s, the beloved chocolate peanut butter brand, has been on a roll with its collaborations in the past year. From teaming up with Nothing But Bundt Cakes to Chili’s, Betty Crocker, Crumbl, and International Delight, Reese’s has been popping up in various forms across different menus. And honestly, we’re not complaining. The more Reese’s treats there are in the world, the better place it becomes for all of us chocolate peanut butter lovers.
But Reese’s isn’t stopping there. Their latest collaboration is with the iconic ice cream chain Rita’s Italian Ice, and it’s something we can’t wait to get our hands on. Rita’s, known for its Italian ice, also offers soft-serve frozen custard, which they mix with toppings to create a treat called a Concrete, similar to a Blizzard or McFlurry.
One of Rita’s popular Concretes is the Reese’s Peanut Butter Mudslide, featuring vanilla frozen custard with Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Reese’s peanut butter sauce, and Hershey’s hot fudge. Building on the success of this flavor, Rita’s is launching a new collaboration called the PB and Toffee Concrete. This delicious treat features vanilla frozen custard with Reese’s peanut butter sauce and a crunchy almond toffee topping.
Fans are already raving about the new PB and Toffee Concrete, with one commenting on Rita’s Instagram that it’s their “favorite of all time.” Unfortunately, not all Rita’s locations are open year-round, with most operating from March to September. So, if you’re lucky enough to have a Rita’s nearby or live in a warm climate, be sure to check for the new Reese’s Concrete at your local restaurant.
For the rest of us eagerly awaiting the arrival of March 1st, when Rita’s locations typically open for the season, mark your calendars. Whether there’s a snowstorm outside or not, nothing will stop us from indulging in the deliciousness of Reese’s in the form of a PB and Toffee Concrete from Rita’s Italian Ice.
