Castlight Health Launches Virtual Urgent Care Service Integrated with Benefits Navigation App
WHY IT MATTERS
Castlight Health has introduced a new virtual urgent care service that is seamlessly integrated with its benefits navigation app. This innovative offering, powered by Fabric’s virtual care platform, aims to provide Castlight members with a unified and high-quality care experience. It allows for continuity of care through chat-based visits with licensed physicians and nurse practitioners.
Fabric’s technology supports queuing and on-demand visits, enabling video, phone, and chat-based consultations. The integration with the Castlight app ensures quick access to care from anywhere, with on-demand appointments available 24/7, 365 days a year.
Members can schedule chat and video visits with a provider in just 5 minutes and receive consultations for various conditions such as cold and flu, medication refills, and more within 15 minutes.
The virtual urgent care service has undergone successful pilots with Fortune 500 companies and is now being rolled out nationwide. This offering provides employers and health plans with another virtual healthcare option to enhance health outcomes.
ON THE RECORD
“Fabric is excited to collaborate with Castlight to deliver on-demand virtual urgent care access to millions of individuals covered by America’s top employers and health plans,” stated Fabric CEO Aniq Rahman.
“This partnership ensures that members can easily connect with trusted providers and receive timely care through various modalities, making high-quality care more accessible than ever,” he added.
“By integrating Fabric’s technology into our navigation platform for virtual urgent care delivery, we are simplifying the process for employees to access care when and where they need it. This ensures a coordinated, high-quality care journey that seamlessly connects to the broader healthcare ecosystem,” said Jonathan Porter, CEO of apree health, Castlight’s parent company.
