Culver’s, the beloved fast-food chain known for its delicious ButterBurgers and creamy custard, is bringing back a fan-favorite burger for a limited time only. The CurderBurger, a unique creation that features a fresh beef patty topped with a massive golden fried cheese curd patty, will be available starting September 29th. Originally introduced as an April Fool’s Day prank in 2021, the CurderBurger received such a positive response from customers that Culver’s decided to add it to the menu permanently. This year marks the fifth year in a row that the CurderBurger will be making a limited-time appearance, with its run concluding on October 14th.
But that’s not the only exciting news coming out of Culver’s this fall. In celebration of National Cheese Curd Day on October 15th, the chain is introducing a spicy new flavor of its beloved cheese curds. Starting on the 15th, guests can order Jalapeño Cheese Curds, which combine bits of jalapeño with real Wisconsin Cheddar cheese curds for a flavorful and poppable side dish. These spicy curds will only be available while supplies last and will be taken off the menu on October 31st.
To make the celebration even more special, Culver’s is launching its first-ever Curdtoberfest, a month-long event filled with prizes, Curdtoberfest-themed decor, and of course, the limited-time menu items that fans have been eagerly anticipating. In a press release, Emily Patterson, Culver’s VP of marketing, expressed the chain’s excitement for the upcoming festivities, stating that Curdtoberfest is a way to celebrate cheese curds with a Culver’s twist on the Oktoberfest tradition.
