Cheesemaker Crystal Farms, owned by Post Holdings, has taken a bold step by releasing Dill Pickle flavored shredded cheese. This unique blend of Monterey Jack cheese with the zesty flavor of dill pickles is set to be available for a limited time in Target stores across the Upper Midwest.
Andrew Cannon, associate director of marketing at Crystal Farms, stated, “Our consumers have been asking for more unique and bold flavors, and they’re especially excited about anything pickle.” This new offering was developed using the brand’s in-house seasoning capabilities and can be used in various recipes such as wraps, dips, or mac and cheese.
The popularity of pickles has surged on social media platforms like TikTok, with more than 223 million videos dedicated to this brined cucumber. Food companies are capitalizing on this trend, with brands like Goldfish and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos incorporating pickle flavors into their recent launches.
Peroni Collaborates with Giada De Laurentiis for Italian Beer Ice
As temperatures soar, Italian beer Peroni Nastro Azzurro has teamed up with chef Giada De Laurentiis and Tipsy to create a unique frozen treat. Peroni Italian Beer Ice Scoop, with up to 5% alcohol by volume, is a lemon Italian ice infused with hints of citrus and the classic taste of the beer.
De Laurentiis expressed her excitement about the collaboration, stating, “Italian ice has always held a special place in my heart.
