Founded in 2015 by Dr. Carrie Singer, who also serves as the CEO, Orchard Mental Health Group offers a comprehensive range of mental health services including in-person and virtual therapy, medication management, diagnostics, and psychiatric services. The company’s commitment to high-quality care and patient-centric approach has garnered the attention of private equity firm The Graham Group, which invested in Orchard Mental Health Group in early 2023.
Dr. Singer expressed her vision for the company’s growth and expansion, stating, “We are open to adding other similar mental health clinics to our network to build a large, high-quality insurance-based provider group in the DC-MD-VA region.” She emphasized the importance of creating a clinically-oriented growth strategy that values the expertise of therapists and prioritizes patient care.
The acquisitions of GBCC Behavioral Health and Oasis Behavioral Health Urgent Care align with Orchard Mental Health Group’s strategic goals of expanding its presence in the region and enhancing its service offerings. GBCC Behavioral Health, established in 1996, specializes in group and individual counseling, medication management, and evaluation services. Oasis Behavioral Health Urgent Care, founded in 2005, operates in Annapolis, Maryland, and provides a range of group and individual therapy services.
