Podcast Powerhouse Alex Cooper Expands into Beverage Industry
Alex Cooper, the host of the highly popular podcast “Call Her Daddy” on Spotify, is making waves in the beverage industry with the launch of Unwell Hydration. This ready-to-drink beverage line is specifically aimed at young women looking for a refreshing and replenishing drink option during their busy days. According to the press release, Unwell Hydration comes in three flavors: Strawberry, Mango Citrus, and Orange Hibiscus, with each 16.9-ounce bottle containing 700 milligrams of electrolytes, B vitamins, and green coffee extract.
Cooper expressed her motivation behind creating Unwell Hydration, stating, “Women are often expected to juggle multiple roles and be everything to everyone, which is why I wanted to create a hydration drink that helps replenish what we give out.” The product will initially be available at Target in January, with plans for a broader launch later in 2025.
The rise of podcast hosts like Cooper and Joe Rogan has influenced celebrities and influencers to venture into the food and beverage space. With the success of products like Logan Paul’s Prime hydration drink and Hershey’s acquisition of Sour Strips founded by Maxx Chewning, it’s clear that there is a growing market for influencer-backed consumer goods.
