Wendy’s Brings Back Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal Collection
I’m going to make a bold claim: We need more Halloween-themed food items. I love my pumpkin-spiced everything (okay, maybe not everything), but I also love a good theme! Spooky Oreos, Reese’s pumpkins, and even the innovative Kit Kat shapes. While some brands might be clinging to the last remnants of summer, I’m ready for the leaves to change and for a breeze to carry me straight into Halloween season.
So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw that Wendy’s brought back one of its most beloved meals that’s literally made for the spooky season.
Wendy’s has long been known for giving out $1 Boo! Books during the spooky season, but last year, it stepped up its game with a new set of collectibles available with its Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal. Fans went gaga for the meal because of the adorable toys, inspired by the iconic Frosty treat. After customers claimed they wanted to buy the Frosty Frights “by the bucket” last year, Wendy’s has brought back the meal with 12 new collectibles.
This year, fans can collect up to 12 toys, including six special “bright fright” versions, inside their standard kids’ meal, which includes a choice of four-piece chicken nuggets, hamburger, or cheeseburger, along with Jr. Hot & Crispy Fries or Apple Bites and a kid’s drink. Wendy’s new Frosty Frights toys include The Yummy, Chilly Gilly, Ice Patch, Captain Coldsnap, Meltin, and Purrrma Frost, with each classic character getting a “bright fright” version, too.
Fans are ecstatic to see the meal back on Wendy’s menu for another year.
“Need the black cat immediately,” one user wrote on @snachwithzach’s video about the new Purrrma Frost character.
“The toys are SO cute,” another commented.
This limited-edition meal is now available at Wendy’s restaurants nationwide. And even though it’s meant for kids, I know I’ll be running to snag a few of these collectibles for myself.
