Wendy’s is once again revolutionizing the way Frosty fans enjoy their favorite fast-food dessert with the introduction of new Frosty Swirls and Frosty Fusions. The chain recently announced the release dates for these new treats, along with the exciting sauces and mix-ins that customers can add to create a customized dessert experience.
One of the new offerings is the Strawberry Frosty Swirl, featuring sweet and juicy strawberry sauce swirled and topped on a creamy Frosty. For those with a sweet tooth, the Caramel Frosty Swirl promises to be an even sweeter treat that tastes like a cold, creamy candy bar. Lastly, the Brownie Batter Frosty Swirl is a chocolatey delight that is sure to satisfy any fan’s dessert dreams.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Wendy’s is also introducing Frosty Fusions, allowing customers to add both sauce and mix-ins to their frozen dessert. The Pop-Tarts Strawberry Frosty Fusion is a standout, marking the first time this snacking staple is officially offered as a mix-in for a frozen dessert. This fusion includes a Wendy’s Frosty base, sweet strawberry sauce, and chunks of strawberry-flavored Pop-Tarts Crunchy Poppers pieces.
Other Frosty Fusions include the Oreo Brownie Frosty Fusion, made with swirls of Brownie Batter sauce mixed with crunchy Oreo cookie pieces, and the Caramel Crunch Frosty Fusion, which blends a Frosty with crunchy toffee pieces and a sweet caramel sauce.
In a statement, Lindsay Radkoski, the U.S. chief marketing officer for The Wendy’s Company, expressed excitement about the new offerings, stating, “We’re expanding on our beloved Frosty so when a sweet tooth strikes, the choice is easy for consumers: It’s Gotta Be Wendy’s.”
Fans can get their hands on the Frosty Fusions when they launch nationwide on May 12. However, the Frosty Swirls will be available even earlier, starting April 11 exclusively through the Wendy’s app before rolling out nationwide on April 15.
To enhance the overall Frosty experience, Wendy’s is introducing a newly designed cup with a domed lid, perfect for dipping Hot & Crispy Fries. For those who prefer using spoons, Wendy’s is also rolling out a custom blue Frosty spoon designed to ensure every last drop is enjoyed.
